Opened in 1970, the Deutsche Klinik für Diagnostik (DKD, German Diagnostic Clinic) was modeled on the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA. The health center combines top medical expertise with state-of-the-art medical technology and equipment, all under one roof. The DKD has earned an excellent reputation at home and abroad and welcomes patients from around the globe in Wiesbaden. It is currently home to about 90 medical specialists from various fields and boasts excellent diagnostic and therapeutic successes.

The International Patient Service has offered its support to every international patient at the DKD since 1996. With the help of the IPS, services can be booked at the DKD including, but not limited to, the fields of: gastroenterology, endocrinology, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, nephrology, pulmonology and ear, nose and throat. A few other specialties located outside of the DKD in equivalent clinics, such as dentistry, for example, are also available.
